Girls and boys

We wash and bathe in the pond.

We eat breakfast. We have mudhi (rice like pop-corn) and lalcha (black tea with lots of sugar). The cook helps with this. Her name is Khuda Nag. She also cooks the school lunch.

School starts at 09.30
We have lessons in Oriya (the language of Orissa), maths and drawing. The older children also study history, geography, general science, and English. Our Head teacher is called Rajkishor Barge.
