Padmalaya Mishra Padmalaya's friends call her 'Pam' for short. She works for ActionAid in Orissa, India. She meets with the poorest people to discuss what they would like to change about their area. These meetings are called Reflect circles because the people sit in a circle, listen to each other and think about plans for the future. Pam used to be a journalist, but she prefers working for ActioAid. She said, "When I was a journalist I watched. Now I am a part of what is happening."
