ActionAid's work India was the first country that ActionAid worked in, and it's now the largest programme. I visited a few places where farmers are working together to improve their land and harvests as well as campaigning for fairer trade rules. ActionAid also helps educate lots of children who can't get to government schools. Work concentrates on the poorest groups including homeless people, tribal people, disabled people and women.
